Mission Statement

To give thoughtful consideration to the ramifications each issue will have on the environment, as well as the economic impact to the town with special consideration to the surrounding properties. To set a standard of integrity; addressing each issue based solely on the best interest of the community at large disallowing personal interest or bias from corrupting the process. To embrace and encourage the participation of the citizenry in the planning process. To preserve the rich historic value of the Town of Leland. To be proactive in promoting the economic and aesthetic development of our community being mindful of both our current and future planned infrastructure’s ability to support development.
