LELAND, NC – The Town of Leland will hold its’ sixth annual Founders’ Day celebration on Saturday, September 8, 2007.  The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Town Hall ground, located at 102 Town Hall Drive.

 

“Founders’ Day 2007 is going to be an event you don’t want to miss,” says Leland Mayor Walter Futch.  “There will be something for everyone with all of the food, music and fun so join us in our celebration of Leland on Founders’ Day this year.”

 

WWQQ’s Stunt Boy Brian Joyce will serve as Master of Ceremonies for Founders’ Day 2007.  The day’s activities also include live music, a talent show, children’s games and bouncing rides, face painting, exhibits by local businesses and the Leland Police Department, food and arts and crafts.  Mayor Walter Futch will kick off the festivities with opening remarks at 10 a.m. and lunch will be served at 12:20 p.m.
