Town of Leland seeks volunteers

for 2008 Founders' Day Committee

LELAND, N.C. – The Town of Leland is seeking volunteers for its 2008 Founders’ Day Committee.  The 2008 Founders’ Day celebration will be held Saturday, Sept. 13. 

The Town is holding a Founders’ Day information session at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at Leland Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive.  Attendees will learn about volunteer opportunities to serve in executive positions such as Chairman, Co-Chairman, and Secretary and to lead committees, which include Registration, Hospitality, Entertainment, Food, Door Prize, Decorations, Vendors and Children’s Activities.  For more information contact: Landon Barker at (910) 371-0148 or lbarker@townofleland.com.
