LELAND, NC - The Town of Leland’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a free family movie night on Friday, August 17, 2007.  The event, which begins at dusk (around 8:45 p.m), will be held on the recreation field at 102 Town Hall Drive in Leland.  The event will feature a cut, family-friendly version of Will Ferrell’s Talladega Nights (rated PG).  Families are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs to use during the movie.  This is an alcohol-free event.

 

“This event is intended to provide Leland residents with an affordable opportunity to relax with their families,” says Landon Barker, Executive Assistant for the Town of Leland and head of the town’s Parks and Recreation Department.  “We invite area families to come out, bring their blankets or lawn chairs, enjoy the movie and get to know other Leland residents.”
