Leland Town Council passes resolution designating the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce as the town’s official chamber of commerce

LELAND, N.C. – The Leland Town Council passed a resolution at its Sept. 20 meeting designating the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce as the official chamber of commerce for the Town of Leland.   The resolution was adopted unanimously.

“The North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce has consistently demonstrated its commitment to Leland and the other towns in northern Brunswick County,” said Leland Mayor Walter Futch.  “We are pleased to recognize their efforts to improve our local economy by fostering a strong, vibrant business community in northern Brunswick County.” 

TEXT OF THE RESOLUTION:

Resolution Designating North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce

as Town’s Official Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce’s membership covers many businesses and individuals from the Town of Leland; and 

 

WHEREAS, the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce promotes the Town of Leland as a place to live and a place to do business; and,

 

WHEREAS, the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce cooperates with the Town of Leland to promote the Town’s programs and activities.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leland that the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce is hereby designated as the Town’s official Chamber of Commerce.
