Toy donations still being accepted

for Operation Santa Cop

The Leland Police Department is coordinating its second annual Operation Santa Cop toy drive to provide toys to needy Leland-area children during the holiday season.  Toy donations are still being accepted at a number of locations, including the Leland Town Hall, Leland Volunteer Fire Department, Magnolia Greens Clubhouse, Waterford Clubhouse, Wal-Mart and Cross Creek Commons.

The toys will be distributed to the Leland area's needy children at a Christmas party on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Leland Town Hall.  For more information or to volunteer please contact Corporal Robert Ernest at rernest@townofleland.com or Landon Barker at lbarker@townofleland.com.
