DEBRIS DROP-OFF SITE MOVING
Effective August 5th 2009, the Town of Leland Yard Debris Drop-off Site will be located at the New Public Works Complex at 187 Old Lanvale Rd. There will be a sign directing you into the driveway.
The site will still operate as always. It will be open every Wednesday from 9am to 4pm except holidays.
Debris must be no larger than 4 inches in diameter, no longer than 4 feet in length and absolutely no construction debris!

Curbside Recycling (Coming in Early 2009)
The Town of Leland will launch a new curbside recycling program in early 2009. The program will enable residents to conveniently recycle glass, aluminum and steel cans, newspaper, magazines and plastics without increasing their trash collection bills. The program will be administered by Waste Industries.
Recycling bins will be distributed to all single-family homes within the Leland Town Limits in early January, and collection will begin in February. Recyclables will be collected the same day as trash.
For more information, please contact Waste Industries at 910-253-4177.

In the event of rain or wind on recycling day, residents should place a plastic bag over the top of the bin and secure it with the newspaper bundle.
