The Town of Leland Code Enforcement operations are in place to enhance and sustain the quality of life of citizens and the environment through effective, expeditious and equitable enforcement and compliance with building, zoning, land development, environmental and other codes and ordinances that protect public health, life safety, welfare and natural resources.

Report a Sediment and Erosion Control Problem
Sediment and erosion control problems, such as downed or inadequate silt fencing on a construction site, should be reported to NC Department of Environmental Quality's Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) Wilmington Regional Office at (910) 796-7215 or DEMLR's toll-free hotline at (866) STOP-MUD.
