Hurricane Florence Emergency Response Recap
The Town of Leland's emergency operation response to Hurricane Florence took place from September 12 to September 20, 2018
During this time, an Emergency Operations Center was established at Leland Town Hall. First responders from Leland Fire/Rescue and Leland Police departments worked alongside FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Team Missouri Task Force 1 to respond to calls for help throughout the Leland area. Staff, citizens, and organizations worked together to weather this storm. We are proud to report that not one life was lost in Leland as a result of Hurricane Florence.
