New Interactive Map Shows Agencies Responsible for Street Maintenance in Leland

Leland residents now have a new tool to help with street maintenance requests. The Town has created an interactive street maintenance map, accessible through the Town of Leland website.

The map indicates whether streets within the Town’s boundary are maintained by the Town, NCDOT, or another agency, which could include private ownership or homeowners’ associations. The interactive function allows users to search for a specific street or address, creating a more user-friendly experience than traditional maps.

This visual tool allows residents to quickly identify which agency is responsible for the operation and maintenance of streets within the Town’s boundary, so that they can know who to contact for any street, sidewalk, or other right-of-way issue.

Service requests for Town-maintained streets can be submitted through Leland311.com, which allows users to report non-emergency problems quickly and easily to the Town. For other inquiries related to Town-maintained streets, contact Street Maintenance at (910) 332-4652. For NCDOT-maintained streets, contact NCDOT Division 3 at (910) 398-9100.
