Brunswick Village Blvd & Kay Todd Utilities Extension Project
Milestone timeline

Project includes the construction of a new sewer force main and water line along Brunswick Village Boulevard Extension and Kay Todd Roads. The project will help serve the developing areas within Brunswick Forest and along Kay Todd Road. Work will require brief lane closures with flagging for duration and closure to through traffic on Kay Todd Road from Monday, March 15th at 8:00 am through Friday, March 19th at 5:00 pm. Residents on Kay Todd Road will need to follow the detour through the roundabout at the water tower to Brunswick Forest Parkway.

Project Updates
The contractor will begin laying sanitary sewer and water main lines along Kay Todd Road. A second road closure of Kay Todd Road is anticipated for end of April/May as the contractor open cuts the road to run service lines to the House of Pickleball Facilities and to future lots.
Kay Todd Road is open to all traffic. The contractor finished installing underground utilities across Kay Todd Road and backfilled the site. There is still small cleanup needed and the contractor plans to pave early next week. Please use caution when in the area.
Due to the rain and severe weather this week, the road closure to all traffic on Kay Todd Road is being extended through 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. All traffic will be detoured into Brunswick Forest, onto Brunswick Forest Parkway, to the Water Tower, and onto Kay Todd Road.
The Town of Leland will be closing Kay Todd Road to all traffic 8:00 am, Monday, March 15, 2021 and the road will remain closed until 5:00 pm, Friday, March 19, 2021. All traffic will be detoured into Brunswick Forest, onto Brunswick Forest Parkway, to the Water Tower, and onto Kay Todd Road.
