Project Updates

Construction Continues
Tuesday, November 24, 2020

Construction work on the new lift station continues.  Through the month of December crews will be connecting the manholes and force main and conducting pressure testing.

Construction to Begin
Tuesday, September 15, 2020

Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21, 2020.  The contractor will be bringing in equipment, preparing the new lift station site, and locating utilities.  Construction is expected to take 7-months to complete the full relocation of the lift station.

Notice to Proceed
Tuesday, August 25, 2020

Town issued Notice to Proceed to C.M. Mitchell Construction Company.  Construction to relocate the lift station will start in September 2020.

Project is Awarded
Monday, August 3, 2020

Town Council approved the resolution to issue a Notice of Award to C.M. Mitchell Construction Company, Inc. for the Lift Station 1 Relocation project.  Town Staff is finalizing contract documents and notice to proceed.  Construction to start in September.

Final plans and bid documents are complete.  Project is being advertisement for construction bids.  Bid closing is slated for 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2020.
