Regional Pump Station 33 and Force Main Extension
A project to construct a sewer lift station in Brunswick Forest to help serve the developing areas within Brunswick Forest and along the Highway 17 Corridor with sewer. The lift station will accept additional flow from other lift stations by forcemain. (Formerly know as the Hewett Burton Lift Station Project).

Contractor to start the construction to extend the force main under Highway 17 from Hawthorne at Waterside to Ibis Landing. Contractor is also finishing up installing electrical to the lift station.
Contractor is finishing work at the Lift Station 33 site. Electrical to be installed and final pressure testing to be completed. Contractor is waiting on the Encroachment Agreement from NCDOT prior to extending the force main from Hawthorne at Waterside across Highway 17 to Ibis Landing.
Contractor is currently working on the wet well at the Pump Station 33 site. Change Order approved to extend the force main from Hawthorne at Waterside across Highway 17 to Ibis Landing.
Construction continues on Regional Pump Station 33. Contractor is currently working on the wet well at the Lift Station 33 site.
Construction is underway. Contractor is currently working alongside Kay Todd Road.
The contractor has completed installation of the dual forcemain lines out to Brunswick Forest Parkway as of February 17, 2020. The contractor is working to isolate and repair an existing force main line that was damaged during the installation.
