Each year during the month of March we celebrate Youth Arts Month. This coming March Youth Arts Month celebration and awards ceremony is on Friday, March 22, 2024, 7 - 9 PM during the intermission of the evening performance. Students that submit artwork will reiceve 2 FREE tickets to the performance. Teachers need to fill out the form below to ensure staff at the LCAC holds their tickets. We love having the Brunswick County Schools participate so make sure you tell all of your students and fill out the forms below. Each age category (K-2, Grades 3 – 5, Grades 6 - 8, Grades 9 - 12) will be juried and the winners in each category will win a special prize. In addition to those prizes, the winners of the high school category will be awarded scholarship checks! This is a great way to introduce your students to life post graduation.
Timeline to keep in mind:
Artwork Drop-Off: February 12 – 29 (2024)
- Ensure every piece of work is matted on black paper so it can be hung directly on the wall.
- Ensure every piece of art that is dropped of has the corresponding students form attached to the back.
