Yes! Anyone who is a Town of Leland resident, and over the age of 18, can join the Parks and Recreation Board.
We offer programs and events for people of all ages (children, teens, adults, and seniors) and all abilities. You do not have to be a Town of Leland resident to participate in our programs and events.
There are spaces within each park/facility that are available for rental. Please fill our our rental request form.
We do not currently offer any youth sports. Please check the Brunswick County Parks and Recreation page for current offerings.
None of our parks currently allow for camping or RV stays.
We have various volunteer opportunities at our programs and events. Anyone interested should fill out our volunteer interest form.
No, we do not offer a membership at the LCAC.
All bands and entertainers should contact us using the band and entertainment submission form.

You can register for programs and events online or in person at the LCAC, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. We cannot register anyone over the phone. Please see our Program & Events page for full registration instructions.
Our programs run on a spring/summer and fall/winter schedule. Registration opens on Feb. 1 for the spring/summer session and on Aug. 1 for the fall/winter session. When registration opens on those dates, you can register for any program within that season. For exact dates and frequency of programs, please check the CAPE!
Some of our programs meet once a week for six weeks, while other programs may only meet once. Please check the CAPE for exact dates and frequency of programs!

Our main indoor facility is the Leland Cultural Arts Center.
All refund requests received 14 days or more in advance of the start date of the program or event are entitled to a 100% refund, less the online ActiveNet processing fee.
