Trash and Recycling Pickup is on Friday

GFL Environmental, Inc. (formerly Waste Industries) is a private company that provides residential trash and recycling collection on Fridays throughout the Leland area. Trash is picked up every Friday, and recycling alternates every other Friday. If questions, please call GFL at 910-253-4177.

Debris Drop-Off Site

The Town of Leland's vegetative debris drop-off site, currently located at 187 Old Lanvale Road NE, will permanently close on Saturday, January 11, 2020 in order to allow for the expansion of operations at the Public Works Yard and ensure the safety of the public and Town employees who work at the site. The site will operate on its regular schedule - 8:00 AM - Noon, Wednesdays and Saturdays - until that date. Note: The site will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

The Town of Leland provides no-fee curbside recycling for residents. The Town currently contracts with GFL Environmental, Inc. to provide this bi-weekly service. Please see the Recycling Pickup Calendar for information on when your recycling will be collected. A list of recyclable items can be found on the Brunswick County Recycling website.

The grey roll out carts are for trash service and the blue roll out carts are for recycling.

Brunswick County Solid Waste & Recycling
