The Town adopted the 2030 Strategic Plan to guide elected officials and staff as they work to allocate resources, meet goals, and ensure alignment with the defined Vision.
The Strategic Plan identified the following five Strategic Priority Areas that serve as the foundation for setting goals and objectives across all levels of the organization:
- Safe Community
- Resilient, High-Quality Infrastructure and Environment
- Communication and Engagement
- Organizational Excellence
- Business and Neighborhood Enhancement
Each Strategic Priority Area is accompanied by specific goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives that will allow Council and staff to track and drive progress. The Town will update the Strategic Plan Portal twice a year to provide transparent updates on the progress made. This tool is intended to support accountability and open communication among elected officials, staff, and the community.
The Transparency Portal supports the 2030 Strategic Plan by providing an accessible, real-time view of departmental performance metrics across the Town. These metrics help guide resource decisions, inform future strategic initiatives, and connect day-to-day operations with the Town’s long-term vision. By centralizing this information, the Town enhances transparency, strengthens accountability, and keeps the community informed on progress.
