The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) supports the Patrol Division and consists of detectives who conduct general investigations. CID has Task Force Officers assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and U.S. Marshals Service Task Forces. CID also has Special Operations officers in uniform who focus on identified traffic issues. CID is staffed with a lieutenant, sergeant, seven detectives, and three officers.
