Programs & Events

The Town of Leland offers a variety of recreation programs for youth and adults that encourage positive leisure lifestyles. Recreation programs provide opportunities for socialization, personal growth, physical activity and character building. The Parks and Recreation Department is always looking to expand the services it provides so that it remains responsive to the community and on the cutting edge of recreation trends. Check back often as new programs are added regularly.

'Valiance in Men' by Rachael Renee Baker

January 29 - February 24 | LCAC

The February gallery artist is Rachel Renee Baker of Whimsy Rae's Artistry. This moving exhibit, Valiance in Men, features powerful mixed media portraits of iconic figures. 

Her reception will be held on February 5 from 1 - 3 PM at the LCAC and is free to attend.

Mug Madness

Join the Leland Cultural Arts Center in celebrating the talented potters taking classes and working in the pottery studio.
Stop by, shop for a new favorite mug, and enjoy coffee, tea, or hot chocolate!

Campfire @ the Cove

February 26 | 4 - 6 PM | Cypress Cove Park 

Join us for a night of family fun around the campfire at Cypress Cove!
We will provide all the supplies for making your own smores, and we will have plenty of games on site for some friendly competition.
This event is free, but you must register in advance.
