The Leland Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department hosts art markets each year in May and December. These events feature unique, handmade creations from incredible local craftsmen and artists. Vendor applications are accepted on this webpage in March and October.
The Leland Cultural Arts Center gallery hosts exhibitions that rotate monthly including two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork. Local artists are encouraged to apply for both solo and group shows. The LCAC also organizes an annual Instructor Showcase, Youth Art Month exhibit, and LCAC Student Show in the gallery space.

The Leland Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department welcomes professional, creative people who have experience teaching and a passion for arts, recreation, and anything in between. The department accepts proposals for classes and workshops for all ages twice a year. During those times, the application will be available on this webpage.

The LCAC Open Studios can be used by any current LCAC student. If you are currently enrolled in an LCAC class, your open studio fee is included in your class registration. Open Studio passes can be purchased by any former drawing, painting, pottery, or stained glass student. See below for information on calendars and pricing.
This is a fully-functioning pottery studio with three Skutt km1027 kilns and a variety of glazes that are mixed in-house. We also have two industrial sinks, three Brent CXC wheels, a slab roller, an extruder, a spray booth, and lots of smaller tools available for use. Generous work space is available for the novice or advanced student, and storage lockers are available for rent.

- Two week pass: $25 for residents/$30 for non-residents
- 30 day pass: $50 for residents/$60 for non-residents
- Biannual pass: $300 for residents/$360 for non-residents
- Annual pass: $600 for residents/$720 for non-residents

Practice Rooms A and B are equipped for private music practice. Practice Room A features a keyboard that is available for use, while Practice Room B is suitable for any musician bringing their own instrument(s).
Featuring a wide, spacious room with tons of natural lighting, our studio has 15 floor easels, a sink, and standard and youth size tables and chairs. In this room, instructors will conduct classes on many subjects, including but not limited to acrylic, oil, pencil, and other art materials.
