Property tax bills are mailed towards the end of August by the Brunswick County Tax Office.
Property taxes are due before January 5 of the following year.

As of July 1, 2015, local governments will no longer have the authority to levy a privilege license tax per S.L. 2014-3/House Bill 1050. Therefore, the Town of Leland does not require a new or existing business to obtain or renew a privilege license.
