Open Studios

The LCAC Open Studios can be used by any current LCAC participant. If you are currently enrolled in an LCAC program, your open studio fee is included in your program registration. Open Studio Day passes can be purchased by any former basket weaving, fibers, dance, drawing, painting, pottery, or stained glass participant. Click the buttons below for studio hours. Featuring a Marley sprung floor, full-length wall mirrors, and ballet barre, the dance studio hosts several classes in dance and yoga. Its wide, spacious interior allows for plenty of movement and has a full stereo system for any audio needs.  Dance

HandbuildingThis is a fully-functioning pottery studio with three Skutt km1027 kilns and a variety of glazes that are mixed in-house. We also have two industrial sinks, three Brent CXC wheels, a slab roller, an extruder, a spray booth, and lots of smaller tools available for use. Generous workspace is available for novice or advanced students, and storage lockers are available for rent.

psFeaturing a wide, spacious room with tons of natural lighting, our studio has 15 floor easels, a sink, and standard and youth size tables and chairs. In this room, instructors will conduct classes on many subjects, including but not limited to acrylic, oil, pencil, and other art materials.

mmThe Mixed Media Room is equipped with large work tables and all equipment needed for the beginner or advanced stained glass enthusiast. This room can also be modified for basket weaving, jewelry making, mosaic tiling, and much more.

wrThe Wheel Studio contains a sink, eight Brent CXC wheels and two accessible wheels, glazes that are mixed in-house, and lots of smaller tools available for use. Generous work space is available for the novice or advanced student, and storage lockers are available for rent.
