The Town of Leland continues to prioritize transparency with the launch of the 2030 Strategic Plan Portal. The portal will be updated twice a year and is designed to keep residents and Town Council informed about the progress of strategic initiatives.
The 2030 Strategic Plan highlights five Strategic Priority Areas that guide Town-wide goals and objectives:
- Safe Community
- Resilient, High-Quality Infrastructure and Environment
- Communication and Engagement
- Organizational Excellence
- Business and Neighborhood Enhancement
The portal currently reflects statuses as of June 30 and will be updated again in January. Status labels include the following: in progress, complete, not initiated, delayed, postponed, and canceled. Initiatives marked as not initiated, delayed, or postponed may be resumed in the future. As the Town continues to evaluate the use of its resources, initiatives that no longer align with the long-term goals in the Town's guiding documents will be marked as canceled.
