The Town of Leland is seeking project proposals from local businesses, organizations, and nonprofits for the upcoming Lend a Hand in Leland on Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The deadline for submitting a proposal is April 17 at 5 p.m.
Lend a Hand in Leland is a community-wide day of service dedicated to supporting Leland residents. The event brings together volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to complete meaningful projects that address local needs, strengthen neighborhoods, and enhance overall community well-being.
Organizations whose mission is to better the Leland community are encouraged to apply. Proposed projects should directly benefit residents and may include initiatives such as neighborhood trash cleanups, food or hygiene drives, minor landscaping assistance, or tree planting. Projects must be able to accommodate at least 10 volunteers and take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
If your organization is interested in participating, we encourage you to submit a project proposal and connect with new volunteers while making a tangible impact in the community.
