View the Age-Friendly Strategic Plan Draft
The Town of Leland welcomes you to participate in two upcoming Open House events to view and provide feedback on the draft of the Age-Friendly Strategic Plan. We value your input on priorities for aging-related community events, partnerships, recreational spaces, and other aspects of community life.
- April 25, 5-7 p.m. at Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive
- April 29, 1-3 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, 1212 Magnolia Village Way
The Age-Friendly Strategic Plan was created in collaboration with AARP. The plan provides insights into how the Town can create a friendly community for residents and visitors of all ages. Leland 2045 was used as a guiding tool to develop the strategies, actions, and priorities identified within this new plan.
