Updated Leland Hurricane Guide Now Available in English and Spanish

Hurricane Guides English and Spanish

The Town of Leland has released an updated edition of its official Hurricane Guide, a key resource to help residents prepare for and respond to hurricanes.

This comprehensive guide includes essential information such as evacuation routes, emergency contact numbers, supply checklists, and tips to help safeguard homes and property before, during, and after a storm.

To make the guide more accessible to the community, the Town partnered with the Cape Fear Community College Spanish Club, Los Diablos Marinos, to produce a Spanish-language version. Both the English and Spanish guides include the same critical preparedness information.

Printed copies are available at Town facilities and will also be distributed at the Town of Leland Hurricane Expo on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way.
