Thursday, September 25 | 6-8 p.m.
Leland Cultural Arts Center | 1212 Magnolia Village Way
Join the Town of Leland for Battle of the Bowls, an evening of live bluegrass music, a community chili cookoff, and local artisan vendors. This family-friendly, football-themed event will be held at the Leland Cultural Arts Center and is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite football jerseys to show team spirit and add to the fun.
Throughout the evening, enjoy live bluegrass performances while sampling chili in a friendly cookoff between Leland Fire/Rescue and Leland Police. Chili tastings are free to all attendees. To vote for your favorite, bring donations to support Manna Ministries and the work they do in the community. Each canned good or one dollar donated will equal one vote ticket.
The winner of the cookoff will be announced at 7:45 p.m.
In addition to food and music, a variety of local vendors will be on-site with handmade goods available for purchase. This is a great opportunity to support local artisans and give back to a good cause, all while enjoying an evening of community connection.
We invite residents and visitors to join us on Thursday, September 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. We look forward to seeing you there.
