The Town of Leland invites the community to participate in the Clean Water Education Partnership’s Regional Creek Week, scheduled for March 14-21. The weeklong event offers hands-on and educational activities designed to help participants better understand local habitats, wetlands, and waterways.

On March 16, the Habitat Fixer Uppers lecture will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. The program focuses on North Carolina's freshwater wetlands and the role they play in providing food, shelter, and nurseries for native wildlife.
