Loblolly Park is a future mixed-use park planned for a currently undeveloped site adjacent to Long Pine Drive in Leland. Designed to meet the recreational needs of a growing population, the park will offer a variety of amenities that encourage active lifestyles, outdoor play, and community engagement. Key features are anticipated to include an 18-hole disc golf course, an inclusive playground, a restroom facility, and a multi-use trail connecting nearby neighborhoods and existing pedestrian infrastructure. By combining recreation, connectivity, and open green space, Loblolly Park will become a valuable community asset and destination for residents and visitors alike.

Project Updates
Following meetings with Summit Design and Engineering and Innova Disc Golf, the Town has received the first round of concept design plans for the park project. Following review and feedback, the engineers and designers will continue refining the plans and developing the overall park design.
In conjunction with the park design, Summit Design and Engineering will also develop a comprehensive master plan for the future park. The master planning process will include opportunities for public comment and community feedback to help guide the final plan.
