The Town of Leland invites residents to share ideas for the future of parks, recreation, and open space at an open house on Oct. 28 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Town Hall, 102 Town Hall Drive.
The open house will give residents an opportunity to learn about current recreational opportunities and provide input on future parks, facilities, and amenities they’d like to see in Leland. Community input will help shape the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Master Plan, which will guide the Town’s priorities for the next 10 years.
The plan will build on the Town’s previous planning efforts while supporting community goals such as preserving open space, expanding recreational opportunities, improving trail connectivity, and enhancing quality of life for current and future residents.
