Leland in Lights Grand Illumination | November 21 | 6-8 p.m. | Founders Park, 113 Town Hall Drive
Leland in Lights is back at Founders Park! Join us for the Grand Illumination on November 21 as we kick off the holiday season and light up the park. Following Grand Illumination, the lights will remain on each night, transforming Founders Park into a festive holiday experience through Jan. 3.
During Grand Illumination, attendees can enjoy train rides, write letters to Santa, listen to live music, visit holiday-themed vendor booths, enjoy local food trucks, play in the snow, and explore the glowing trail around Founders Park featuring brand-new light displays.
Event Schedule
- 6 p.m. | Grand Illumination
- The Mayor and Santa will flip the switch to officially illuminate Founders Park.
- 6:10–8 p.m. | Holiday Celebration
- Leland Express: Ride around Founders Park aboard the Leland Express.
- Live Entertainment: The American Caroling Company will take the stage.
- Santa’s Workshop: Kids can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and write letters to Santa.
- Snow: A snow machine will bring a little winter magic to Leland.
- Food Trucks: Grab a bite from Chocolate & S’mores, The Green Bean, Glizzies on the Go, Cheeze Boss, or Mimi & Papa’s.
- Beer Garden: Guests 21 and older can enjoy selections from Brunswick Beer and Cider and Leland Brewing.
- Community Activities: Local community organizations will host activities and giveaways throughout the evening.
Grand Illumination
Limited parking is available at Founders Park.
Overflow parking is available at:
- First Baptist Church, 517 Village Road
- North Brunswick High School, 114 Scorpion Drive
- Port City Community Church, 187 Old Fayetteville Rd
Multi-use paths provide direct access from both overflow parking areas to Founders Park. An accessible shuttle will also run between North Brunswick High School, Port City Community Church, and Founders Park from approximately 5 to 9 p.m.
