Trash service is provided by Brunswick County, which contracts with GFL Environmental for county-wide collection. Trash is picked up every Friday in Leland.

GFL Environmental

Recyclops

Recycling service Recyclops offers fee-based curbside subscription recycling. The service, which uses a tech-driven smart-routing app and local drivers, allows residents to subscribe to have recyclable materials picked up from their homes every week. To sign up, visit the Recyclops website.

Residential Recycling Self-Service Drop-Off Site

The Town of Leland Residential Vegetative Debris Drop-Off Site is located at the Town's Municipal Operations Center, 1926 Popular Street NE. The facility is open on Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., except holidays. 

To use the site, residents much purchase vouchers in advance. Five vouchers are available for $60 or 10 vouchers are available for $100.
