Trash & Recycling

Trash & Recycling Collection

GFL Environmental, Inc. (formerly Waste Industries) is a private company that provides residential trash and recycling collection on Fridays throughout the Leland area.

Trash is picked up every Friday.

The Town of Leland's recycling program has transitioned from twice-monthly collection to once per month for the 2020-21 fiscal year effective July 1.

Curbside recycling will be picked up on Fridays. View the Recycling Route Map to determine your pick-up day.

A list of recyclable items can be found on the Brunswick County website.

Residents who need an additional bin can secure one directly through GFL at a cost of $6.75 per month, or $81 for one year. The total annual cost will be billed in advance.
