Trash & Recycling Collection
GFL Environmental, Inc. (formerly Waste Industries) is a private company that provides residential trash and recycling collection on Fridays throughout the Leland area.
Trash is picked up every Friday.
The Town of Leland's recycling program has transitioned from twice-monthly collection to once per month for the 2020-21 fiscal year effective July 1.
Curbside recycling will be picked up on Fridays. View the Recycling Route Map to determine your pick-up day.

Residents who need an additional bin can secure one directly through GFL at a cost of $6.75 per month, or $81 for one year. The total annual cost will be billed in advance.

Brunswick County Recycling programs accept a variety of items, including roof shingles, cooking oil, electronics and more.
