Economic Development Committee
Appointed by the Town Council, the Leland Economic Development Committee was created to establish and oversee activities of the Town’s economic development program and assist the Town Council in implementing economic development initiatives in Leland. The committee consists of seven (7) members and meets the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Applications to serve on the Economic Development Committee in the coming fiscal year will be accepted through May 31. Currently, a total of five (5) members are needed: four (4) for two year terms (2 members from the greater Wilmington region and 2 members living or working in the Town of Leland), and one (1) member is needed to fill an unfinished term for a year (from the greater Wilmington region).
