The Town of Leland is excited to host its first Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Northwest District Park, located at 1937 Andrew Jackson Highway. This free, family-friendly event builds on the Town’s annual Trunk or Treat tradition, offering more games, activities, and entertainment, including music from a live DJ.
All ages are welcome to visit the pumpkin patch, where hundreds of pumpkins will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, one per person. Painting stations will allow attendees to decorate their pumpkins on-site. Once finished, families can stop by the festive photo area, complete with Fall Festival signs and a hay bale bench.
“Fall Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and bring our community together,” said Mayor Brenda Bozeman. “We’re proud to partner with local businesses and organizations to provide a safe, fun, and welcoming event for families.”
Community partners will line the trick-or-treat path with decorated booths offering candy and games. Participating organizations include the Leland Police Department, Leland Fire/Rescue, Leland Area Rotary Club, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Carolina Complete Health, Le Serenidad Therapy Services, Ryan Homes, Behavioral Consulting for Autism, Emily Creations, Girl Scouts, Isabella Court – A Quinn Residences, Crosswinds Church, Trisha Ellison Dreams Fulfilled Travel, Ruffined Pooch Pet Spa, and Lifepoint Church.
