Leland in Lights | Nov. 21-Jan. 3 | Founders Park, 113 Town Hall Drive
Leland in Lights begins Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. with Grand Illumination. Throughout the season, Founders Park will come alive with holiday events and activities designed to bring the holiday spirit to Leland and create memories for the whole family.
The lights will turn on every night at dusk, so you can enjoy the display throughout the season. On most weekends, the park will also feature food trucks, rides on the Leland Express, and special events including movies, live performances, and more.
Schedule
- 6 p.m. | Grand Illumination
- The Mayor and Santa will flip the switch to officially illuminate Founders Park.
- 6:10-8 p.m. | Holiday Celebration
- Leland Express: Ride around Founders Park aboard the Leland Express.
- Live Entertainment: The American Caroling Company will take the stage.
- Santa’s Workshop: Kids can meet Santa, share their Christmas wishes, and write letters to Santa.
- Snow: A snow machine will bring a little winter magic to Leland.
- Food Trucks: Grab a bite from Chocolate and S’more, The Green Bean, Glizzies on the Go, Cheez Boss, or Mimi & Papa’s Gourmet Popcorn and Sweet Shop.
- Beer Garden: Leland Brewing Company and Brunswick Beer and Cider for patrons 21 and older. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
- Community Activities: Local community organizations will host activities and giveaways.
The Leland Express will run both nights from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
