Grand Illumination of Leland in Lights returns on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 6–8 p.m. at Founders Park, 113 Town Hall Drive. Most areas of the park will be open for the event, with the exception of the amphitheater, which is still under construction and expected to be completed in late spring 2026.
✨ Event Overview
At 6 p.m., Santa and Mayor Bozeman will kick off the celebration by flipping the switch to light up Town Hall, Founders Park, and Town Hall Drive all at once. Guests can stroll through the sparkling displays in the newly renovated park, write letters and visit with Santa under the new pavilion, dance along to a live DJ, enjoy treats from local food trucks and vendors and, hop aboard the Leland Express.

🚗 Parking & Shuttle Service
On-site parking is limited. Attendees are encouraged to use the convenient shuttle service available at the locations listed below.
Attendees may park at Port City Community Church, located at 187 Old Fayetteville Road, or First Baptist Church of Leland, located at 517 Village Road NE. Shuttle service will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the church parking lots, with the final pick-up at 8:45 p.m. at Town Hall. All shuttle services will conclude at 9 p.m.
Accessible parking will be available at both Town Hall and Founders Park. Please note that Town Hall Drive, between Village Road and Old Fayetteville Road, will be closed from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
