A burn ban has been issued by the Town of Leland, effective Friday, Oct. 24 at 12 p.m. until further notice.
The ban prohibits all burning within 100 feet of an occupied structure within Town limits. Due to Brunswick County’s burn ban, the same restrictions apply to unincorporated areas of the county within the Leland Fire District.
