Celebrate Brunswick County Youth during Youth Arts Month! Enjoy student art that will be on display at the Leland Cultural Arts Center Feb 28 - Mar 30 . On Mar 25 from 9:30 - 12:30 PM will be the Youth Arts Gallery Reception followed by the awards ceremony.
Throughout the day there will be FREE crafts and live music by Brunswick County Youth.
Awards will be given according to:
Grades K-2 | Grades 3-5 | Grades 6-8 | Grades 9-12
Monetary scholarships will go to the winners in Grades 9 - 12
The Youth Art Show will be judged by professional artists and we will present awards and prizes for the artwork with top scores. The Awards Ceremony will be held during Leland PRCR’s 2023 Youth Arts Day on Saturday, March 25 from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Youth Art Show Submission To participate, teachers should: x
- Choose up to (6) works from different students from your school.
- Awards will be given according to the following categories: Grades K-2 | Grades 3-5 | Grades 6-8 | Grades 9-12
- Mat selected work on black paper so it can be hung directly on the wall.
- Drop off student artwork at the LCAC February 13 – 25. Each piece of art must have the Submission Form with student information attached to the back of each piece.
- Pick up student artwork at the LCAC from April 3 – 6, 2022.

By participating in this show the teacher,the parents of the child, and the child give the Town of Leland the non-exclusive right to reproduce images of the selected artwork and of Youth Arts Day participants, without financial obligations of any type, for the purpose of promotion, documentation, and course instruction and other non-commercial purposes.
